Barney-the Cat
Even if this is the noisiest cat in the neighborhood, he sure is cute. Sunday Mama and I went on a walk and Barney followed us-meowing the entire time. He reminded me of the passage in 1 Samuel 6:12: "And the cows took the straight way in the direction of Beth-shemesh; they went along the highway, lowing as they went, and did not turn aside to the right or to the left. And the lords of the Philistines followed them to the border of Beth-shemesh."

The other day we were taking a little stroll around the neighborhood and the kiddos saw a cat in someone elses yard. Gabe said, "That cat looks like Barney." and then Mya said, "That cat IS Barney. How did Barney get all the way here?" I assured them that Barney was safe in VA and wouldn't be traveling all the way to TN anytime soon.
Barney is a beautiful cat even though he does go lowing all the way. Maybe one day we will figure out why he meows like this! Great pictures!
