RAINBOW

Isn't it amazing how God reminds you of his promises when they haven't been in your thoughts recently? Not only does he bless us with some much needed rain but then God reminds us that he will never flood the entire earth again! God is so good!!!

Mount Airy!

Every Andy Griffith lover needs go to Mount Airy (Mayberry Land) atleast one time!! It was like being in the show! We took over 100 pictures but don't worry I just posted a few so ya'll could get a wee taste of it as well! Carrie and RA inside the courthouse. RA was not too sure about being in a jail. :) Ron Creech (a man that dad knows) came by for a visit this weekend. He was able to go with us to Andy Land.

In front of us is the famous cannon (No, we did not try to shoot it!)

"Gomer says hey" :)

Dad and Mama enjoyin a milk shake after lunch.

Floyd's Barber Shop and Snappy lunch (which is mentioned in a few of the AG eppisodes). We ate lunch at Snappy Lunch, the line was pretty long but it does live up to its name! If ever in Mt. Airy stop here and eat! :)

Creeper Trail

This weekend was full of all kinds of adventures! Chrisa and I went bike riding on the VA Creeper Trail with Brian and Dianna Hankins. (Thanks guys!) It was a 17 mile trip but most of it was downhill so it was smooth sailin'!
Chrisa and I were not properly prepared for almost the whole ride being in the shade so Robbie and Carrie were nice enough to lend us some extra clothing! -- Brian and Dianna--
Beautiful scenery along the way....
Re-fueling---eating a wee snack

So Refreshing...

Chrisa recently visisted the Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta. (As part of her summer job, teaching music for upward bound) Since she doesn't really enjoy drinking Coke so she gave me the bottle they handed out and also bought me this cute lil keychain!! Thanks Chrisa!!

Exercise Equipment

This is what it looks like: a treadmill. Mama and I ventured shopping on Friday and as we were walking out of the mall this clearence item caught my eye. I was quite excited when I saw it because I have been wanting one for a while! Working out on yucky days is now possible. :)

July 4ourth

First let me clarrify. It seems that during the 4th we thought each other had the camera so our pictures are scattered on one of our 6 or so computers in the house. Eventually I may get all of the pictures on my blog but it may take a while so. (I know you can hardly wait for the next post...ha) :)
I hope each of you in blog world had a wonderful 4th of July!!! Our 4th was spread out over the course of the week. We went to the Historic Crab Orchard Museum for the festivities and later on that evening we went to church for prayer meeting, ice cream and fireworks. Most of us enjoyed the fireworks (we did them when it was still light outside due to the young children participating) but a two kiddos who were a little afraid of the shrilling noise and wild colors.
Our cookout was Friday night and below are the pictures. We went swimming at Rob's parents house and it was a very enjoyable evening! Sir Gabriel deffinately had the best time! Enjoy!!! :)
