A Morning Catch...
And tonight's supper...POSSUM STEW! Mmm good...
It would seem we are a magnet for opossums getting in the garage-find a feast of cat food. Monday D and M spent the better part of the day cleaning out the garage and only found traces of the invader. So, Dad borrowed a trap and set it Tuesday night-the bait was cat food. This morning he was in the trap-I do have to say he does look a bit forlorn and sad. He has gone the way of all the earth-with a little help.

Barney-the Cat
Even if this is the noisiest cat in the neighborhood, he sure is cute. Sunday Mama and I went on a walk and Barney followed us-meowing the entire time. He reminded me of the passage in 1 Samuel 6:12: "And the cows took the straight way in the direction of Beth-shemesh; they went along the highway, lowing as they went, and did not turn aside to the right or to the left. And the lords of the Philistines followed them to the border of Beth-shemesh."
