A Little Bit of Spring

Spring is on its way! Yes, these tiny flowers opened up today and since some of us are already use to the warm weather and some think it will never come, this is a nice compromise! Perhaps I should have gotten a little closer so you could actually see them! Today I was walking to the mail box and had the camera handy, thus is the reason for this random picture. Aren't pinecones an interesting thing?

A Snowy Sunday

Due to the snow church was called off. Grandaddy, Gabe and I went out and played in it a while. Gabe was a little disapointed because we could not build a snowman. (His suggestion was putting glue in the snow) I could not get him to slide with me but Grandaddy did pull him around a bit. Mya did not have any suitable shoes to snow play, so she stayed out long enough to get a few pictures.

Mya was wanting her Mama in this picture. She was probably wondering what these crazy people were doing dragging her outside in the cold.

A Winter Visit

Clara, Gabriel and Mya are in for a visit until Monday. We are having an enjoyable time visiting with them!
I did not want anyone to think I was prejudice with just posting pictures of the children. Yes, this is Clara, the Mama of Gabe and Mya. :) Grandaddy rockin' a very tired Mya. Notice her blanket that is always very close by!

Gabe informed Clara before he came that since Chrisa was not here to give him a bath and put him to bed Emma would have to do it. However, Mama would have to bathe Mya because she might cry. Tonight's bath he washed my hair and made me Lemonade with Blueberries. (It was very tasty)

Gabe has such an imagination! I found him in this 'corner' playing away. He was more than happy to have his picture taken!

Valentines Day

Carrie and Ruthanne came in on Valentines day and are going to stay with us a few days! We are very thankful RA is well and eating again!

Even though Grandaddy's face is a little weird, I thought RuthAnne's smile was cute!

Wall Completed

Here is the finished product. Finally complete and put back together!! If you can't read this it says "Hey to Gabriel, Mya and RuthAnne". :) This wall is waiting for little hands to write on it.

A little country life

John Deere Green! Mama and I worked this puzzle last week intitled "Shelling Days". I thought it earned a place on my blog. It's amazing how life-like a puzzle is made to look.

Birthday Celebration

New scrubs! Work will be so much more exciting with these new guys on! Perhaps I look more 'my age' when dressed for work. haha :) Chrisa and Matt surprised me by coming in for my birthday! (Thus is the reason why we celebrated a day early) They met us at the restaraunt we ate at for my b-day. I was a little confusiated when I saw them there! (Oh, they must have come in for my birthday!) What a wonderful family I have! Thanks ya'll! :)
